Contracts, Orders and Deliveries – Terms & Conditions.
Ahlsport e-Store is an electronic marketplace hosted by Ahlsport Oy. Ahlsport Oy (Business Identity Code: 2155768-4) acts as a seller.
The following Terms & Conditions apply to trade between Ahlsport and its customers.
Ahlsport sells sporting goods to natural persons of age 18 and above (“consumers”) as well as to businesses and organisations (“business customers”). Ahlsport may sell sporting goods to consumers under the age of 18 years if their legal guardians give their consent to purchasing goods via Ahlsport e-Store.
Terms & Conditions – 5 Key Aspects:
1. Our price list contains all the products and their prices.
2. All prices include EU VAT (24%).
3. Online banking, credit cards and PayPal are accepted as payment and delivery methods.
4. Purchase receipt or shipping label must be kept available for any product liability claims.
5. The purchased goods may be returned within 14 days. If returned, the goods must be unused.
Terms & Conditions in Detail:
1. Placing an Order
1.1 When placing an order, the customer shall always indicate the following:
a) Consumers: full name, street address, e-mail address, telephone number.
b) Business customers: registered name of the company, contact person, e-mail address, street address, Business Identity Code, telephone number.
1.2 When placing an order, the customer accepts and agrees to be bound by the Terms & Conditions of contracts, orders and deliveries applicable to deliveries. For Contractual Terms & Conditions, see e-Store, point “Contractual Terms & Conditions”
1.3 Ahlsport customer register is confidential. Ahlsport shall not disclose information to third parties.
1.4 The parties shall communicate by e-mail or by phone. The customer is obliged to check his/her e-mail account regularly. Ahlsport contact information is available at http://www.ahlsport.com/www/?sivu=palaute&lan=fi
1.5 Binding sales contract comes into force when the customer submits an order.
1.6 Ahlsport reserves the right to limit sales in large batches – for example due to unavailability.
1.7 Ahlsport’s liability for product unavailability or for regulatory or import restrictions is always limited to cancelling a purchase and refunding any previous payments.
1.8 All products sold by Ahlsport are sold “as-is”. The customer should carefully read through the product information available on our website.
1.9 If the customer does not accept the contents of a delivery, the customer has a right to return the product to Ahlsport within 14 days.
1.10 If the product or price information is clearly defective, Ahlsport may plead that the incorrect information has been published mistakenly, for example if the defect is so obvious that the customer should have understood its defective nature.
1.11 Ahlsport is not responsible for any information published on manufacturers' websites.
1.12 Ahlsport reserves the right to select its customers.
1.13 The products sold in e-Store shall only be delivered within Europe.
2.1 All prices indicated in the price list include EU VAT (24%).
2.2 The regular packing and shipping charge for deliveries abroad is EUR 49 per order. However, the charge is EUR 129 per order when shipping Fitpole Stage abroad. The above charges only apply to deliveries abroad. For deliveries within Finland, the shipping charge is 19,90 EUR per order.
2.3 All product information is available on our website. If the product information is defective and the customer wishes to return the product, the return can be made free of charge within a reasonable time after the customer discovered or ought to have discovered the defect. The customer shall discover the defect within a reasonable time.
2.4 If the price information is clearly defective, Ahlsport may plead that the incorrect price information has been published mistakenly, for example if the defect is so obvious that the customer should have understood its defective nature. This applies for example to selling Fitpole Stage (price: EUR 1 299) with the price of EUR 129.
3.1 Ahlsport delivers products to its customers with a handling time of 5 to 14 working days. If possible, Ahlsport will inform customers of handling times exceeding 14 days.
3.2 When shipping the goods from Ahlsport to the customer, Ahlsport is responsible for any damages or losses during shipping. When shipping the goods from the customer to Ahlsport, the customer or the logistics company is responsible for any damages or losses during shipping.
3.4 When sending us goods, for example when returning products, please keep the return documents and postal receipts/item tracking codes available.
3.3 Even if the goods are packed carefully, logistics companies cannot always guarantee that the parcels are delivered without damages. When collecting a delivery please check that the parcel is in good shape and undamaged. If you notice that the delivery has been damaged during shipping, report the damages IMMEDIATELY to the logistics company. After this, you can contact Ahlsport to agree on shipping a replacing product.
3.5 Our business is based on the assumption that all available goods are delivered to consumers within 3 weeks of submitting the order. The consumer shall accept that some goods may be backordered due to unavailability or the order may be cancelled. Backorder fee shall be charged as usual.
4. Terms & Conditions – Payments
4.1 The customers may select one of the following payment methods: Finnish online banking, credit cards, or PayPal.
Online banking and PayPal are the fastest and most economical payment methods.
The payment services related to online banking are managed by Paytrail PLC (Business ID: 2122839-7) in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. For users, the services resemble traditional Internet payments.

4.2 Payments with Visa, Visa Electron or MasterCard
If you wish to use Visa, Visa Electron or MasterCard for payments, Ahlsport Oy
only acts as a marketing agent for the goods and services and
ships the goods to the buyer. Consumer complaints are managed by Paytrail PLC.
When the payment is made with Visa, Visa Electron or MasterCard, Paytrail acts as a seller. The trade is agreed on by the customer and Paytrail PLC. The seller assumes all trade related obligations. Paytrail PLC is the receiver of the payment.

4.3 Companies, educational institutions, communities and the State may use invoicing for making purchases (payment terms: 14 days net).
4.4 Customers may use invoicing without separate applications. Credit rating is verified with each submitted order. If you are making your first purchase and you are not a member of board of directors, please send us a written consent from your employer stating that you are authorised to purchase by invoice. Please check whether or not the delivery contains an invoice. If the delivery does not contain an invoice and it will not arrive by post within 5 working days, please contact Ahlsport invoicing service, e-mail address: firstname.lastname@example.org
5. Right to Return
5.1 In accordance with the Finnish Consumer Protection Act, our customers have a right to return or replace goods within 14 days of collecting the parcel (including weekends and public holidays, excluding the collection date). The goods shall be returned or replaced by the first working day following the 14th day.
5.2 The right to return goods bought by mail order only applies to goods which are unused and fit for sale. During the cooling-off period, the consumers may explore the goods in the same way as if the goods were presented to them in a store. The consumers may also open the package and explore the contents without losing their right of cancellation. However, the goods may not be used.
5.3 The right to return does not apply to sealed products. Similarly, the right to return does not apply to “hygiene products”.
5.4 If the goods are returned, the customer shall cover the shipping charges.
5.5 The purchase date is the date of collecting the parcel from a post office. The customer is obliged to prove the collection date, for example by presenting a receipt provided by the post office.
5.6 Returning Goods

b) Use the original packaging (pack the goods carefully) without adding any unnecessary labels or markings.
c) Include a copy of the receipt/shipping label.
d) Write a consumer complaint (informal) and include it in the return package.
e) Return the goods within 14 days of the purchase date.
5.7 If the above instructions are not followed when returning goods, Ahlsport shall resend the goods to the customer. In this case the customer shall cover the costs.
5.8 The right to return goods is always product specific. The delayed delivery of one product does not extend the cooling-off period of another previously delivered product.
5.9 The right to return does not apply to customised products.
6. Products, Product Defects and Defective Product Information, Consumer Complaints
6.1 Informal consumer complaints may be sent by post (Ahlsport Oy, Huhdantie 7 A, FI-16300 ORIMATTILA) or by e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org).
6.2 Under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act, the buyer shall notify the giver of the warranty/seller of any defects within a reasonable time after he/she discovered or ought to have discovered the defect.
6.3 All purchase cancellations and refunds should be agreed on in writing (for example by e-mail or by letter). Verifying cancellations or refunds agreed on by phone might be difficult later on.
